To determine if you are current in closing out the month, check the Close Out Month value in your system:

Open the Month End Update feature.
- In Dentrix, from the Ledger, select Close Month.
- In Easy Dental, from Accounts, select Month End Update.

Verify the Close Out Month displayed on the screen.
If the displayed Close Out Month matches the current month, your system is up to date.
For example, if today’s date is 08/12/2021 and the Close Out Month shows 08/2021, then you are current.
If the Close Out Month shows a date prior to the current month, you must close each outstanding month in sequence until the current month is reached.
